Woo Hoo!

The new anti-inflammatory is kicking in! Typically, my knee hurts quite a bit the day after physical therapy and yesterday, it was fine. That's a good reason for a "woo hoo!" Don't you agree?

awesome Ali!!

Hey, regarding bike fitting--I go to Craig Upton at Above Category bikes in Mill Valley. He is awesome! It isn't super cheap but he does a great job, and will help you in the future if you need additional adjustments, or for a different bike. He helped build up the bike for Kristin Armstrong, who won the time trial event in Beijing, and has worked with many top US women cyclists. I have been very happy with his help. Tell him I sent you!

Another option would be Presidio Sport & Medicine. I met with a guy there named Jay back in 2005 who helped me when I was having some ITB pain with biking. He did a pedal analysis and found some problems with the way I was pedaling and it was really helpful. The downside is that they don't have access to bike parts there, so if you need to swap anything out, you have to do that on your own, which is a pain.

I would probably go with Craig for the fit and perhaps do a pedal analysis with the PT later. But that could add up $-wise.
